Private Hob Knob Houses

The Hob Knob offers two village rental homes that are available by the week year-round. Thaxter House, a former schoolhouse that was completely renovated in 2001 and Tilton House, which debuted in July of 2006, present the same casual elegance found at the hotel, with an added measure of privacy. A gourmet cook’s kitchen in each house is equipped with all you will need to prepare a feast – or have a private chef arrive to do it for you. Plush robes, hair dryers, umbrellas, beach towels and beach chairs are all provided for your use while in residence.

Both properties are ideally located in downtown Edgartown, minutes from town center, beaches, the bike path and walking trails, restaurants, shops, galleries and the movie theater. Whether for a family vacation, or a group of friends traveling together, each house provides the finest that Edgartown has to offer. A Family Friendly Inn!
The Dockside Inn is a family friendly Inn built in 1989, and has the conveniences of a new modern Inn. There are 17 regular guest rooms and five apartment suites with kitchen facilities. Most rooms have Queen beds, some two. Our regular guest rooms sleep 2 persons, the apartments sleep 4 to 5 persons. One has a Jacuzzi tub, one a roof deck. All feature air conditioning, cable TV, in-room refrigerators and are comfortably furnished for your vacation. There is a lending library of VCR tapes and CD’s,DVD player, Wii and Wii games, beach towels and beach chairs. Our recreation room has a wide screen TV, internet connected computer, WiFi and game area, a soda and ice machine.
